Rodents
Rodents are some of the most common and troublesome pests around the world. They can invade homes and businesses, causing damage to property, contaminating food, and spreading diseases. Here are some of the most common rodent pests
Rodents

Rats
The Norway Rat (Rattus Norvegicus) is our most common rat species in the UK. Often a problem shared with neighbours, given that they can travel some distance to their preferred food source, they are known to carry over 35 pathogens that are harmful to humans. Also responsible for significant property damage through gnawing all materials. Early control is vital given their rapid reproductive rate.

Mice
The House mouse (Mus Musculus Domesticus) can be responsible for spreading disease and causing damage to property. Tell-tale signs are droppings (about the size of a grain of rice), chewed property, and sleepless nights as they scurry around your loft and walls.

Grey Squirrels
The Grey Squirrel (Sciurus Carolinensis). Not only responsible for the near extinction of our UK native Red Squirrel, but Grey Squirrels can also cause significant structural damage to property when they have entry to buildings. Chewed electrical wiring and gnawed joists a common impact.
